My job is to help my clients understand ‘how much is enough’. To help them discover their ‘number’. That ‘number’ is the amount they need to keep living the life they want. Because once they understand their ‘number’, I can help them to accumulate it, manage it, protect it and, most importantly, enjoy it before it’s too late! That to us is proper financial planning.
I do this by wearing three hats:
Hat 1 – The Life Planner
The first hat I wear is that of a Life Planner. A Life Planner’s job is to identify exactly where you are now, how you got to where you are now and, more importantly, where you want to get to in the next five years, ten years, fifteen years…in fact, what it is you want to do between now and the day you die. Life is not a rehearsal, and precious time is slipping away. My job therefore is to identify exactly what sort of life you want to live and the type of lifestyle you want to enjoy.
I do this by asking questions and using what I call a Fact Find, which allows us to keep on track and collate the information in an efficient manner.
Then when I know what you want to achieve, I will then take off my Life Planner’s hat and put on my second Financial Planner hat.
Hat 2 – The Financial Planner
The Financial Planner’s job is to identify all the financial resources available to you now, all the resources becoming available to you in the future and, more importantly, all the resources that you might need to become available to satisfy the needs of your ‘life plan’.
When I have all this information, I then put together a comprehensive plan which will show you what your financial future looks like – and what action you might need to take to achieve and maintain your desired lifestyle.
Finally, when I've agreed on a financial plan, if any financial products are needed to help satisfy the needs of your financial plan, then I will take off my Financial Planner’s hat and put on my third hat which is that of an INDEPENDENT Financial Adviser.
Hat 3 - The Independent Financial Adviser
I wear my Independent Financial Adviser’s hat to identify which financial products or investments (if any) will be recommended for all the right reasons – not because it seemed like a good idea at the time.
I do not know when the best time is to invest – I only believe that you should invest for the long term and accept that markets can go up as well as down.

- MY GOALS -
Helping clients to live the life they want to live and to help them keep living that life.
Helping people understand their number and providing them real financial security for themselves and their dependents.
To give people clarity about what their financial future looks like.
I do this by telling people the truth about money.
I help them to understand their money and what it means to them, to take away the worry and stress.
Life is not a dress rehearsal, and you get one chance – don’t lose it.
If these are on your mind and you would like to know the answers, please look at my website.
Unfortunately, I cannot help everyone. I want to work with people who believe what I believe, and I aim to build a long-term relationship built on trust that is profitable for both parties.
